Goodbye LJ, hello Blogspot

I've spent 36 hours trying to get LiveJournal working properly, or at least with Technorati ping facilities. It ain't gonna happen. I really think that LJ is just being malicious in its efforts to extort money. Too bad that other free alternatives look like crap or are down while they ward of denial of service and spam accounts.
